Happenings

So, there aren't many things going on around here. Pretty much the same old routine. We had a relaxing 4th of July weekend. Jared and I both had Friday off of work so it was really great being able to spend 3 days together, relatively stress free.

Friday we slept in and then drove around in Phoenix and Tempe searching for houses we might want to rent. We found a few. But then we found one we really liked. :)

We didn't watch any fireworks this year. Instead we watched 28 Days Later! Haha, I heart zombies. :)

Today we were able to go inside the house that we really liked and decided we want to get it. I will be calling the gentleman back this afternoon to see if we can discuss dates. :) Yay! I hope it works out because I'm DYING to get out of apartments. I want to live in a real house! I will definitely update if we are given the opportunity!

Today will also just be a day of cleaning, getting ready for work next week, and oh-joy...HOMEWORK! I am definitely missing the days where homework was not at all on my mind. Only one more year and I will finally be done. (Then another year and it will start again....)

Ok - really, I think my precious baby Lexi must have a death wish. Last night she found a block of chocolate that was wrapped in tin foil, in a box, in a bag, that was in another bag, that was in yet another bag and got it out and ate it all. She didn't even rip the tin foil! Can you believe it!?!?! I was so worried! My poor baby got sick and was throwing up most of the night. But she is much better today. No more throwing up. Whew! No worries - she back to gaming. :D

In other news - Jared, Jordan, and I are planning to play in a Left 4 Dead tournament online. Woohoo! I have been telling Jared for MONTHS I wanted to play in a tournament. So excited. Only problem is our usual 4th, Jeff, has to work. LAME! We'll see what we can come up with.

We aren't doing too much other than school and work. I am still recovering from the cruise I went on for work. Yeah, I know - my job rocks! :D That will be another post.

First Time!

This is our first blog post and I'm not really sure what to write about. Let's see...we are both in school right now. I'm FINALLY finishing up my BS in Communications (in fact I am avoiding homework right now by doing this) and Jared is working on his MBA.  He's such a smarty - even though he let's it go to his head!  We have two very cute pups named Tifa and Lexi.  They are adorable sweeties. Lexi is the white one and Tifa is gray. These pics were the day they were spayed so they are kind of out of it.

The youngest of the Thatcher clan, Jordan, just moved in with us for the summer before he heads off to college.  This means a lot of time is spent playing video games for the boys! I play sometimes too, not as often.  Only if we are playing Left 4 Dead.
